Blundell's Collieries 1776-1966: The Progress of the Business

During the first quarter of the twentieth century, Pemberton Colliery was the largest colliery in Lancashire. It was one of the 22 biggest out of the 2,670 collieries which Britain boasted in 1925. (Please note these were printed in 1986 so although new, are in a fair condition due to age.)
